Some of the best pieces begin with wood that already has a story.

At Southworth Crafted, we’re interested in giving quality local timber and reclaimed lumber another life. We’re always looking for select hardwood logs, old-growth pine, barnwood, timbers, and lumber salvaged from older homes and structures.

For suitable logs, we offer lumber-share milling and may also purchase logs or reclaimed lumber outright. Kiln-drying services are available as well.

Whether it’s a tree from the family property, timbers from an old Virginia barn, or lumber that has already survived generations, our goal is simple: preserve the story and turn good wood into something worth keeping.
